  • I hold an Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Human Resource Management Institute (HRMI) and a BSc degree in Psychology from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA. I took an extended maternity leave to take care of my daughter until she was able to attend nursery school. I was previously employed as HR Executive – Learning & Development at Accenture Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. I was responsible for preparing the L&D budget presentation to the Board of Directors of Brandix Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. In addition, I was accountable for maintaining monthly training dashboard mastersheet and preparing the L&D presentation. During my tenure at Brandix Lanka (Pvt) Ltd where I was employed previously, I gathered sufficient knowledge in analyzing the business unit’s training needs for preparation of the Group’s L&D budget and received exposure at the training program design stage. My responsibilities included preparing the program budget, identifying suitable training locations and other required logistics, and ensuring 95% participation attendance rate. To date I have implemented about 90 training programs for 450 executives of the companies. They include Senior Managers, Managers, Junior and Senior Executives. The experience that I have acquired working in the area of Human Resources Management in two leading organizations in Sri Lanka – Brandix Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. and Accenture Lanka (Pvt) Ltd has provided with me varied skills and the ability to work with many different types of people. I am confident that I will be efficiently perform general administrative and project support to the Human Resources Director, take on training and capacity building functions where I have particularly well developed expertise and carry out other duties listed for the position and ensure that I make a success of it. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of ideas and enthusiasm. I'm keen to work for an organization with a great reputation and high profile. I believe I could fit easily into your team.
